Bet Mishpachah is a congregation for Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, and Transgender Jews and all who wish to participate in an inclusive, egalitarian, and mutually supportive community. Bet Mishpachah has been selected to receive Mautner Project's Healing Works Award. Recent past recipients of this award include Hala Moddelmog, President of Susan G. Komen for the Cure, and U.S. Representative Tammy Baldwin.

Worship Services

Please join us! Our services are participatory, inviting, and personal; we use gender-neutral and inclusive language.  

Erev Shabbat services are held every Friday night at 8:30pm. Shabbat morning services are held every month on the 2nd and 4th Saturday at 10:00am. Service leading rotates between Rabbi Manewith and our talented lay leaders.

Services are held at the Washington DC JCC unless otherwise indicated. For information on specific services, please check our Calendar.
